Rattle and Rend Beta Updates & Publisher Sell Sheet

Hey everyone, a quick update on where things stand with Rattle and Rend. I have been a bit quiet lately, but a massive amount of progress has happened behind the scenes. Here is the latest:

  • Beta Testing: The v03 Beta remains fully live and open. Players are actively running games right now, and I want to keep that tabletop momentum going.
  • Feedback is Welcome! Your gameplay experience and data is exactly how I iron out the kinks. Please share your gameplay experiences in our Facebook Group or submit your raw notes directly through the Google Feedback Form.
  • The Sell Sheet: The official project sell sheet is completely finished. This is what I’m using to pitch the game to prospective publishers – and you can take a look at it here:
  • Publisher Pitches: I have officially started shopping the sell sheet and beta rules around to tabletop publishers to see if I can secure a traditional printing contract.
  • Next Steps: My immediate focus centers on gathering your playtest feedback to refine the system. If traditional publishers do not pick up the game, I will look into a print on demand self-publishing route so I can still get physical books into everyone’s hands.

Thanks for sticking with the project, and see you on the tables!

Want to Check Out the Rules?

I’d welcome your interest and feedback. You’ve got two ways to do so during the closed Beta playtesting period: join the Facebook Group or sign up for the email list.

Are You a Tabletop Publisher?

The market for rules-light skirmish games continues to grow, and there’s a resurgence in 10mm scale. Yet, the current market for 10mm games continues to focus on big, “rank and flank” battles. Rattle and Rend fill a clear market gap.

If this fits the type of projects you want to bring to market, please reach out.
